We drove all the way from Melbourne City to Hillside just to try Baked Since 95, and honestly, it was worth every kilometre!
It’s a halal restaurant, which makes it even better for those of us looking for great food with peace of mind. We started with a matcha strawberry, and it was such a treat, smooth and beautifully balanced between the earthy matcha and sweet strawberry. The chicken burger was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of flavour easily one of the best I’ve had. And the Turkish eggs were amazing — rich and bursting with flavour ( My personal preference, I like it with a tad more salt )
The whole experience felt warm and welcoming, with friendly service and a cosy vibe. Definitely a spot worth the drive! 🚗💚🍳🍔

5 on 5 what a ambiance and customer service was so good we can’t keep talking about this cafe for a couple of days.. we ordered breakfast and portion was so big we couldn’t finish.. worth every cents.. after long time found a cafe who isn’t giving inflating excuse for service and food. And omg chai latte was so unique I am definitely gonna come back when in Melbourne. Good job chefs 👏 👏

Absolutely amazing service from tipptey ( so sorry not sure how to spell her name ) but she was absolutely lovely !!!! The food was amazing the vitamin juice was so fresh and delicious the munoosh dough was nice and fluffy and not oily which was great as some one that was just passing through Melbourne and usually from Sydney the aesthetic of the cafe , the service and the freshness and quality of the meals was amazing

Ordered the steak sandwich. Bread was crunchy , the sauce was good as well but feels greasy because the steak was fatty. Maybe it would work better with combination of salad on the side.
The drinks were a bit pricey, matcha was plain tasted very milky. Very hidden in the neighbourhood.

The Turkish eggs and Middle Eastern breakfast were divine! Absolutely worth the wait! Even though we were there at the busiest time on a Saturday, service was still relatively quick, and quality did not suffer one bit!
There was also a bit of a mix up with payment, but staff were lovely and quick to rectify the situation! Could not fault this cafe one bit, and will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu! ☺️
