Nestled in the Yarra Valley ~ Yerring Station is beautifully presented with its pristine gardens, beautifully manicured trees & pathways, stunning restaurant surrounded by windows, capturing the mountainous views & landscapes, all whilst combining the outdoors with the comforts of the indoor setting, creating a dynamic atmosphere whilst you enjoy a full bodied glass of wine🍷of your choice (or two or three…) paired with a sensory journey for your taste buds. You’ll also find another beautifully manicured garden, lead in by a vintage aesthetic stone pathway ~ where you can also embark on another journey to the Cellar door ~ wine tasting experience. The overall service was great, we felt very welcomed & well looked after. Our meals came out beautifully presented, we couldn’t fault anything, everything was cooked to perfection (I did need a little extra salt on my steak but that’s me - lover of salt) nonetheless, it was tender, juicy & melted in my mouth. My husband ordered the market fish which was also moist, tender, sweet & succulent. The entrees were equally as delicious with the well balanced combinations of flavours. I highly recommend the lamb, although my husband said his prawn dish was delicious 🤤 As it was my birthday celebration, my dessert came out on a decorative plate with a candle placed on the delicately crafted slice of cheesecake🥰 The desserts weren’t amazing, however they were still good ~ we ordered the caramel chocolate basque cheesecake & the rice pudding. The whole experience was amazing, I highly recommend this winery, we have been to many wineries in the past & this one is one of our “favourites” 🌸 If you’re lucky enough, like we were at our last visit, you’ll get to see a helicopter 🚁 land & take off from their very own landing zone, which is right outside the restaurant. So, if you’re in the Yarra Valley & can’t decide, I hope this helped 😊

I was really excited for this one. We went for the wine tasting on a beautiful sunny day, the kind of weather that makes you want to be outdoors enjoying the view. Unfortunately, the tasting itself takes place indoors in a fairly dim room with very little natural light, which felt like a real shame. With such gorgeous surroundings outside, it seemed like a missed opportunity to create something special. During the tasting, four different staff members poured for us. Three of them asked what we had already been served, which made the whole experience feel a bit disorganized and not as smooth or welcoming as I was hoping for. The wine pours also felt quite small -more like a sip than a proper tasting- and I think most people would agree after seeing the photo I’ve attached. Inside, the décor follows a pop-art theme with Andy Warhol replicas. Normally, I appreciate that style, but here it felt completely unrelated to wine, wine tasting, or the heritage of the vineyard. Instead of enhancing the atmosphere, it actually worked against the rustic, old-world vibe that the place itself naturally carries. That said, the outdoor area is stunning. The grounds are well kept, with a beautiful grassy area out front and a lovely lookout point that really makes you stop and take it in. It honestly left me thinking how perfect it would be if the wine tasting were moved outdoors, perhaps with a small kiosk or bar set up in the middle of the lawn. With the sunshine, scenery, and a glass in hand, that would transform the experience into something unforgettable.

I was there for my birthday, we picked the place due to the good experience in the past with the restaurant side. The winery itself is beautiful, stunning in summer and lush greenery. The downside is the food has gone down in term of quality since the chef left. We sent the food back to the kitchen due to being too salty and got exactly the same dish with the same salty level back. It was a very disappointing experience. We can see other tables also did not finish their foods as well.

Had a great meal at Yering station. Great service beautiful views great menu and flavours. Everyone enjoyed every dish. Loved my prawn entree. The fish main was perfect. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Front of house Trixie was very professional. Wines were great. Deserts were delicious. Highly recommend will def return.

Just Stunning! My wife and I were in a road trip from Bathurst to Melbourne to visit our daughter and son in law. We are either too late to stop or don't have the time to stop in to visit any cellar doors. This time we were just in time to pop in to Yering Station. The property is gorgeous and well manicured, green and lush. The architecture is amazing. We wandered in to the cellar door and we were greeted by a very friendly young man, Perry! He showed and explained our options for tastings. We chose the Village tasting option. Perry was doing multiple tastings groups and the same time but never missed a beat. He was well versed in the wines and the Yering story and explained things in a simple but informative way, we all felt comfortable and enjoyed the wines. My fact being the Village Chardonnay and my wife the Dry Riesling. We proceeded to by and couple of bottles to take to our daughters as well purchased a glass to have our in the sunshine on the manicured lawns. It was a true delight and we are very much looking forward to going back and spending some more time there. Thank you Perry 🍷
