Great family owned gin distillery with some unique gin variations. I recommend a tasting paddle but be warned: the reaper gin (flavored with Carolina reaper chili) is seriously HOT! There’s also a nice selection of snacks and pizzas. They do a few very good cocktails - if it is in season I definitely recommend their take on a Gimlet.

A fantastic landscape with mountain backdrop, super friendly and professional host, beautiful gins! We stopped by for gin tasting while we were in Yarra Valley.
A family run distillery by a brother, James, and sister, Abbey. They grew their own ingredients for the gins and know their stuff well!
I love the background stories and inspiration behind the gins. It's so funny when Abbey was telling us the story about why some of the gin was made because James would like to know how many lemon can fit into the distillery 😁
The distillery is clean and open with indoor and outdoor seating. We really enjoy the Yuzu gin but also like the Oriental gin. Some of these gin would be perfect for making cocktails and some of them would be lovely in cooking and dessert! They also make a perfect coffee!
Definitely a perfect stop to have some drinks and chill or grab some lunch after a tasting!

If you’re looking for a child friendly distillery in the Yarra Valley then you’ve found it! Stag Lane is a family run business where everyone goes out of their way to not only mix unique and interesting cocktails, but do so with great banter and a smile!
It has beautiful views and there are cows and chickens to keep the kids entertained…
Instead of battling the crowds and the Chocolate Factory (next door) you should try relaxing with a Chili Margarita instead!
We absolutely love this place and couldn’t recommend it more.
The Gin Reaper also has such a good bite that I couldn’t resist buying a bottle!
