We went to Skinny Dippers for Sunday brunch, finding the place about half full. It's a bright and airy spot, but unfortunately, it's very loud due to sound bouncing around, making conversations difficult. Adding some rugs or wall art could help dampen the noise. As for the food: the French toast was absolutely delightful, and the coffee was great. However, the kids' chicken nuggets weren't up to par. While the avocado toast was beautifully presented, the bread wasn't fresh; if it were, it could have been one of the best. Service was extremely slow; we waited quite some time before our order was taken and served, and our waitress forgot to bring silverware. She never returned to check on us either.
This place has outdoor seating if you happen to have your dog with you.

Absolutely loved our experience at Skinny Dippers in Maddingley Village! The food was exceptional, with a delightful blend of flavors that left me craving for more. The ambience was perfect for a relaxing meal and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The entire place was spotless, adding to the overall charm. Can't wait to visit again

Over time, the quality and portion sizes have declined while prices remain high, making the overall value difficult to justify.
Although I appreciate that orders are now being written down, missing items had previously been a recurring issue.
On top of this, the cafe is extremely loud to the point where it is difficult to have a conversation even when it isn’t busy. Unfortunately, today’s visit will be my last.

Hands down, the best cappuccino in town! The croissant was equally delightful—flaky, buttery, and full of flavor. Both were the perfect reward for an early start to the day.

Unfortunately I don't think I'll return again after today. The menu has been changed in the past few months. Previously I was told that the chips were gluten free, now they're not. I'm guessing because of the new menu there's now non-gf products in the fryer. I had ordered the chicken club sandwich gluten free and mentioned I'm coeliac. I was then told it would come without the chips, and the only substitute they could do is salad. I asked if they could just make it cheaper as it would have no chips, and the waiter said they could do it half price. When we went to pay we were told they could only take $5 off. I also had stomach pains afterwards so I'm not sure if they did take precautions when handling the gluten free bread. Very sad that they have had a menu change as I used to feel comfortable eating here as a coeliac, and now it's gone the way of ever other mainstream cafe :(

My partner and I had brekky here this morning, there was a sign up apologising for them being short staffed, but we were served and received food very quickly.
I love that most of the menu can be gluten free, and they have actually have gluten free buns for burgers as opposed to sliced white bread like most cafes. The gf brekky burger was very nice, and my partner enjoyed his French toast. We both had mochas which weren't overly sweet or chocolatey, but their regular coffee might be better.
The staff were friendly, our waitress did a great job serving all the tables on her own. For a busy Saturday on their opening weekend, I felt they did an amazing job. We will return soon to try the lunch menu!
