Popped in for lunch with the family today, and it was the worst fish and chips we've had for a very long time.
Overcooked food in dirty oil. Flavourless fish resembling cardboard, chips were hard and tasted like they had been frozen stiff, and potato cakes were stale and overcooked.
Do not waste your money. Disappointing given the place has been a local establishment for decades. Staff were nice.

Nice big pieces of coota! The chips although cooked well to my liking were a bit too chunky for me as I prefer thinner sliced style. I asked for lots of chicken salt, but I feel more salt could had been put on them. Ordered 2 potato cakes and although they are very small I did get another 2 free ones to make up for their size.

Burger pack - could not fault it. Burger was huge, I struggled and couldn't eat it all. Good size serve of nice chips.
My return visit, order being 2 potato cakes and 1 spring roll.
It was nice to see the girl taking my order wearing gloves. I don't normally, but paid in cash. Wasn't so nice to see the same glove wearing girl, same gloves, preparing and cooking a steak sandwich.
Yeah, won't be back.

Great local fish & chip shop. It’s no-thrills and perfect for a quick takeaway meal. There’s just a couple of chairs to sit on while you wait for your order but you wouldn’t be able to sit in here to eat comfortably. The menu has everything you’d expect and there’s a park 600m down the road with some nice picnic tables. Chips & fish were both nice and crispy. Potato cake was also great.

Quick service and large serves. Soggy chips. Gluten free food available. Way too much batter on my pineapple fritter - more than the pineapple! Really a fish and chip shop should be able to make crispy chips.
