McDonald's Gisborne

The old lady working there needs to retire. We got givens 5 of the same toy and we asked to swap one. She told us you get what you’re given. She also gave us mayo instead of Big Mac sauce we paid for. If you are salty and blind time to retire hunny.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ McDonald’s Gisborne is consistently fantastic. The restaurant is always clean and smells great, the staff are extremely lovely, friendly and helpful, and the food is always fast, hot and delicious. You can really tell they take pride in what they do. I honestly can’t fault this McDonald’s — easily one of the best around!

It took 20 minutes of waiting before I had to remind them of my order since they had forgotten. I then got my food, had a soft serve handed to me without gloves. The burger was also very greasy. But worst of all, the sprite ran out of syrup. It tasted horrible. The staff did not make me feel comfortable enough to get a refund

After waiting 10 minutes in a line at the drive thru, we decided to go into the store and place the order at the counter. Two staff members told us to "line up over there" they were preparing orders. After waiting a further 14 minutes while the only staff member taking orders struggled with a party order, my wife again approached the other staff members to see if we could place an order. Again we were told to line up over there". The staff member taking orders was obviously overwhelmed and in need of assistance. So after waiting 25 minutes without even placing an order, we left. Appalling customer service and abysmal teamwork. Never again.

Overall is okay. The French fries were a bit soggy. Trying out the Summer burgers, I personally like the Chicken Big Mac. Dipping sauce from the nugget order was incomplete. Plenty of seating areas indoor and outdoor.
