My husband and I had our wedding reception at Baringo food wine and co in the function area. We always love visiting for lunch and nights out, so we thought why not do our reception here :)
We couldn’t have asked for a better event coordinator than Gemma at Baringo Food Wine & Co. Gemma was absolutely incredible ,full of ideas, so organised, and made the entire evening run seamlessly from start to finish. Gemma organised a meeting prior, supported with setup on the day, helped with table layouts, and chair arrangements, making everything feel effortless!
The cocktails were amazing, the bar and service staff were fantastic and the food was delicious! For a small wedding, there was heaps of space to dance, mingle, and plenty of seating to sit comfortably. Truly the perfect venue, especially for a cocktail style wedding!
What really stood out was the care and support after the event. The team helped pack up leftovers, our cake for the next day, and let us leave our décor to pick up the next day!
The atmosphere, food, and service were exceptional. We feel so lucky to have had our reception here. Thank you so much to Baringo and especially Gemma, for such an unforgettable wedding night 🤍

We had a table of 8 for lunch. Staff were wonderful, very happy and welcoming. The main hostess(sorry didn't get her name) was fantastic. She really engaged with all the people in the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble. Only small thing was the food didn't all come out at the same time, some people had finished before all meals had arrived, BUT it was all so good it was worth the wait. Huge meals! We will definitely be back

We are local and enjoy having our community hub cafe, wine bar and pub.it is a great place for social connections, being part of the overall community feel. It is dog friendly and central to an inclusive vibe felt here. Staff always up for a chat , great service and always receptive to feedback if required.
As for the review referring to the locals as Toffs, how rude and entitled do you sound!
If you’re not happy politely ask for what it is you require and the staff will help you.
And if you are rude to the Toffs God help you!🤣

Fabulous ambience - good seating options, room for a lot of people. We were seated next to a fire, which my older sister appreciated. Food was great - plenty of options. Loved the homemade apple crumble with butterscotch sauce and icecream. Staff were exceptional - very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I can't recall the names of the two ladies who were so lovely. Coffee after the meal was via the Cafe next door. All in all a very pleasant experience. A fair distance to drive, since I live in Geelong, but I felt it was worth it and hope to return in the not too distant future.

Best breakfast burger ever.
Consisted of bacon, poached egg, corn fitter, hot chili sauce, bbq sauce, aioli, on a seeded roll.
All very fresh with the bite of the chili sauce.
Very quick service.
You can sit inside the cafe or out the front on the verandah or under the huge tree in front of the Whistlestop Hotel.
