Overall rating: 2.8 Gisborne Collective is a spacious restaurant with a lot of seating, and nice rustic aesthetic. We ordered a Loaded Fries, Lamb Ragu, a Pizza with various cheeses and prosciutto. Pros: - The Loaded Chips were the highlight out of what we ordered. The chips were thick-cut, which we wish a lot of loaded chips did more often as it counteracts the common sog issues most loaded chips get. Also the Loaded Chips had a nice cheese sauce. - The Lamb Ragu had a dried lemongrass garnish thing that added some needed different texture to the dish. Cons: - The toilets weren't clean. - Both the Lamb Ragu and Pizza were overall pretty boring. - the Pizza had an overkill tonne of Rocket on top. - Overpriced for mediocre food. Gisborne Collective can be a nice place to go with friends, but not worth going for the food.

Really nicely done place for meals or coffee. You can also sit at the comfy couches to watch the sports that are on (cricket, footy, soccer etc). We had the margarita pizza which was done well, hot sauce wings which were yum and kids butter pasta which they couldn't get enough of, we ordered 2 more servings. Sticky date pudding was amazing. Ample seating for groups and peak hours, but during public holiday season be prepared for a 15% surcharge.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while! I had a delicious meal at Gisborne Collective with a friend, and it was really enjoyable. I had the chicken parm, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavour, and the portion sizes were generous. The place was quite busy, so sharing a table wasn’t ideal, but it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience. I would definitely come back again for another meal. I forgot to mention the cocktail, that was delicious too.

Lovely pizza , chilled drinks & fun family time what else do we need on a Sunday arvo. Went there with family, quiet , cosy , relaxed. Surely will go again. Missed the mozzarella cheese sticks as they were not available from specials . Lots for vegetarians & delicious stick date pudding .

Can’t say I’ve eaten a bad meal at The Gisborne Collective since being a patron for the last 18 months. From ever reliable wood fired pizzas with fresh ingredients to the strong list of main favourites. The menu remains reasonably within standards but the specials bring quite a bit of flare for those a bit more adventurous. The twice cooked pork belly is amazing, offset with a crunchy kale-slaw and a perfectly matched dressing. Lamb ragout and fettuccine is a winner. The pan seared barramundi with a cheeky red curry spaghetti also a highlight. Beef cheek gnocchi is another special to watch for. Even the perfect location to drop in for a lovely coffee during the day. Great attentive staff, well priced drinks, and a lovely atmosphere that caters for an intimate table for 2 or a family gathering of 20 plus. Home delivery is so good as well. The meals arrive perfectly packed, hot, and well separated.
