This should really be a 2 star but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt on their other pies/food as I only got to try the classic meat pie. It was below average with a typical mass produced supermarket flavour gravy and stock standard mince. For a place with such good reviews I had high hopes and was left thoroughly dissapointed by this place. The lid was nice and flaky but the pie crust was dry and unpleasant. I will have to try this place again as maybe I got a bad batch. Overpriced at $7.

Lovely country Bakery with sensational atmosphere. The staff was just lovely, super nice and great recommendations. There's free sauce bbq and tomato sauce got pies and so many places to sit. Personally I thought the pies were nice but not the best but I'd still come back for the great atmosphere.
Editing to add more detail, we tried the pastries. I can see why this bakery is so popular. Their vanilla slices, basically all the pastries were out of this world. Probably the best I've had in melb! Changed my review to 5 stars, despite me not enjoying the pies too much, everything else was 5/5! Just loved it

Visited on a quiet weekday during low season, it was a very relaxed stop. A great place to take a break before continuing the journey to Melbourne. Wide bakery selection with good coffee to match.

Randomly came in and we were surprised how big this place is! Plenty of seating. Lots of food to choose. We had pie and scone and they were all lovely. There’s self serve station which we thought really handy. The hot chocolate was not overly sweet and came in good size so we appreciated it. Definitely come back when we are around the area.

Mouth-wateringly good with plenty of interesting fillings to choose from. Good ratio of pastry & fillings for an enjoyable bite.
Highly recommend the Sri Lankan Beef Pie for something a little bit peppery.
Lots of seating options and a cute garden at the back.
A must visit if you are in the area.
