Absolutely outstanding experience. The staff were next level — incredibly friendly, super smiley, and everything was served perfectly. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. To top it all off, we couldn’t get an Uber back to the Big4 Caravan Park, and one of the staff members didn’t hesitate to jump in their own personal car and drive us back. Above and beyond doesn’t even cover it. Absolute legends. Couldn’t recommend the Healesville Hotel highly enough — we’ll definitely be back

absolutely dismal since Michael Kennedy sold it! So sad! It was once such a vibe and held incredible food. Tonight I paid $48 for an unseasoned and overcooked “porterhouse” which was so fatty. I also got 9 “house cut” chips and a few pieces of wet rocket. Guy behind the bar was great when I complained but the girl who served me didn’t even mention the steak night? Which would have been the better option considering I paid an extra $20 for shit.

Loved it here. Returned three days straight. The bar staff were fantastic. Happy hour drinks were awesome. The fire was brilliant and warm, a big reason we returned. We were treated beautifully. The lunch on Grand final day was super yummy, hot, fresh and tasty. A great welcoming pub with a great atmosphere and banter!

Ate in the beer garden at the back, plenty of space -- really a great modern pub experience. Squid, prawn-cigars which are like long prawn dumplings, huge parma and falling-off-the-bone ribs, everything great quality and not dry. NOT your average pub fry up but not pretentious either. Super busy day but the kitchen seemed to be keeping up fine.

Beautiful beer garden. Would be beautiful, were they not horribly understaffed on a summer day (not a public holiday?). Service wasn't great, initially sat at a table and lined up 15 minutes only to be told it was a smokers table and they couldn't serve food there legally. Not an issue if that was marked on the table. Food and dirty plates on every second table (due to the understaffing) also. A beautiful place if you come here on a quiet day.
