Unusual place with a very strong vibe but honestly it was a great spot, with beautiful views of the trees surrounding. Our room was tidy but delapidated, we couldn't help but feel as though the pricetag didn't reflect the state of disrepair throughout. This venue would make an AMAZING venue for school camps. It has such an excess of space and so many facilities but it seems that no one is investing much energy in it currently. I would absolutely stay again. Beds were comfortable, shower pressure was out of this world. All the expected amenities like tea and coffee and toiletries. With a bit of TLC this place has soooooo much potential to be an eco retreat. The pool was an unusual colour but otherwise fun. Calling it a resort in its current state is pretty funny

During my recent visit to Australia from the UK, I had the pleasure of staying at the Sanctuary House Resort Motel, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and genuine friendliness. The staff made me feel completely at ease after my long journey, ensuring that every part of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. My room was immaculately clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I could ask for. The bed was especially cosy after a long day of travelling, and the peaceful surroundings made it easy to relax and unwind. The on-site restaurant was excellent, offering a great selection of freshly prepared dishes. I particularly enjoyed the quality of the food and the relaxed atmosphere — it really felt like a home away from home. Breakfast was hearty and delicious, and the service throughout was faultless. The motel’s location was ideal — quiet and scenic, yet only a short drive from Healesville Sanctuary and the beautiful Yarra Valley. I also appreciated the free WiFi, ample parking, and lovely outdoor pool area, all of which added to the comfort of my stay. What stood out most was the genuine hospitality and the attention to detail from every member of staff. They clearly take pride in their work and in making guests feel cared for. I had a truly wonderful experience at Sanctuary House Resort Motel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area — whether you’re travelling from overseas or exploring locally. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to Australia.

Well I just have to say the Indian guy that was there was so rude and arrogant. and needs to work on how to talk better to people. Just didn't care. A nice spot like that and it looks so run down my friend was in one room with her family and the a/c was like a waterfall they called the Indian guy and he said he's not there and can't do anything. my room there was water leaking in the roof can see it hasn't been fixed for a long time as there was black mould and paint falling off the roof. But the cleaner's there my god you guys you do a great job. room was very clean and tidy. And to that tall Australian guy helping with our bags to our room thank you. so well manned so helpful having people like you working there will keep people coming.. and check there Facebook false advertising this is the real games room and play ground.

Look the location is great!! But... We had the family unit, it was run down the shower bearly worked everything was squiky and we found rubbish in the couches. The pool was adequate but freezing!! The games room had no equipment, the onsite restaurant and bar was always closed and even the brochure shelf was years out of date. The sign says 4.5 stars but I wouldn't give it over 3
