What a lovely evening spent at Jayden Ong winery & cellar bar! It was our first time there with no prior expectation. We were well looked after by Bec who was professional and very capable of single-handedly looking after multiple tables and their orders. There also came the big boss Jayden, who was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, greeted us with plenty of knowledge and stories sharing... we all had a few glasses by then... hehehe The food quality was great and the portion was quite generous. We shall come back next time we visit Healsville again!

Great $45 two course lunch package. Potato and parmesan tart to begin. Then 150gm chargrilled flathead, creme fraiche tartare, frisee salad. Then took an alla carte Dark Chocolate parfait w passionfruit sauce. I had the 6 wine tasting option with tasting notes at table. In a factory setting with atmospheric dark surrounds dotted with huge metal vats and wooden kegs. It's in an industrial area and a little tough to spot but worth it. Staff friendly and helpful.

My partner and I stumbled onto this place when the brewery across the road did not offer any nice non-alcoholic drinks. And boy were we lucky! Everything was spectacular! The non-alc drinks were absolutely delicious, and they had a varied and interesting menu as well. My partner ordered the lamb rib and he said he was incredibly tender and the best lamb he's had in a long time. I got the beetroot salad, the halloumi and the mushroom skewer. The mushroom I wouldn't order again but the salad and the halloumi were tasty as! The to finish off we had the chocolate pave. It was TO DIE FOR!!!! 🫠 20 out of 10 dessert! 😋 Would definitely recommend this place. Loved it! Was a very nice lunch indeed. 100% recommend!

Horrible waiting time in between meals of 20-30mins each, unacceptable service, as they werent even busy when we were dining. We had the Chef Selection Menu, the duck was dry and leathery, the fish was ok, nothing special, salad was bland with no seasoning though the Owner was super defensive when he asked us for feedback. Do not order drinks, expensive, sour (I had to add sweetener that I brought), watery and poor quality. No alcohol but yet cost us $200++ is really low value for money! Will not be back.

Jayden’s place was recommended by our Airbnb hosts and didn’t disappoint and a warm and friendly welcome awaits. Our visit coincided with Friday night steak night. Perfectly cooked steak and french fries. Beetroot salad accompaniment was delicious topped off with a tasty dessert (baked pear and crème brûlée). The suggested wine pairings topped off the evening. Beautifully designed, quality attention to detail including seasonal and locally grown fresh and dried flowers. Definitely worth the short walk from Healesville town centre.
