We randomly discovered this small Nepalese food truck and were so glad we did! The food tasted authentic and comforting. We tried the jhool momo, Nepalese momein, and Himalayan alu thukpa. All of them were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The portions were generous, prices very reasonable, and the service was friendly and welcoming by Roshan. A hidden gem for anyone craving real Nepalese flavours, especially perfect for the winter season and we’ll definitely be sharing this place with friends!!

Been to Melbourne last week and encounter wjth The Pahad and Plate that serves up amazing authentic Nepali food with bold, homestyle flavors. The chicken momos were juicy and perfectly spiced, and the Momin — a creative momo-chowmein combo — was surprisingly addictive. Chicken and prawns bite is over the game as well as Dal-Bhat set, both full of rich, comforting flavors that felt like a meal from home. Great portions, quick service, and a menu that truly stands out. A must-try for anyone craving real Nepali street food! 🥟🍜🍛

I had an incredible experience at Pahad and the Plate with my family. We were so hungry that we ended up ordering almost everything on the menu, and every single dish was absolutely worth it. The service was outstanding – the guy who served us showed amazing hospitality and made us feel truly welcomed. The food was just as impressive. The coconut sweet ball was extraordinary and stood out as a perfect dessert. The creative momein was more than awesome – packed with flavor and something truly unique. The thukpa was warm and comforting, while the momo achar added a spicy, tangy kick that we couldn’t get enough of. Both the prawn and chicken bites had a distinct and delicious taste, and the chicken lollipop was also uniquely flavored and perfectly cooked. The keema noodles were loaded with just the right amount of spices – flavorful and satisfying. Overall, it felt like a great investment of money, and we left with full hearts and full stomachs. We’ll definitely be going back!

First time trying Nepalese food with my sister last week and we were not disappointed! Such authentic, yummy food with a kick of spice. We tried the chicken and prawn bites, Nepalese momein and crispy pork with the puffed rice. And the owner was so lovely and offered us coconut delights on the house. Would definitely recommend their food and will be trying some other things when we go back! Didn’t manage to get any photos because we were too busy devouring it but thank you for such a great first experience of trying Nepalese food :)
