BEST VEGETARIAN FOOD IN THE WEST. I had AMRITSARI KULCHA and the bread was so hot and tasty and soft in the middle and crispy on the ends. Massive servings. Mango Lassi was fresh and tasty. Everything is made fresh and lots of VEGAN options too. You MUST come and try. There is a nice ambiant seating area too. Clean environment and friendly staff.

Apni Rasoi is one of the best spots for real Punjabi vegetarian street food in Melbourne. The taste feels fresh, homemade, and full of desi flavours. Their Amritsari Kulcha, Noodle Tikki Burger, and Momos are absolute must-try. Portions are filling and prices are fair for the quality you get. If you love proper veg Indian food, Apni Rasoi is definitely worth visiting again. 🌱

We ordered achari chaap with garlic naan. It was full on gravy and when asked they said it comes with semi gravy. The yogurt has literally separated its oil and this not eatable for sure, I am not sure if this is actually sold like this or it was an honest mistake. Chaap was way overly cooked and the taste of crumbled yogurt. Disappointed

Apni Rasoi truly delivers an authentic taste of Amritsar through its incredible food. The Amritsari kulcha is perfectly crisp on the outside, soft inside, and packed with flavour, paired beautifully with spicy, well-cooked chole. The chai is strong, aromatic, and comforting—just the way it should be. Their mango lassi is thick, creamy, and refreshingly sweet, making it the perfect balance to the spices. The bhature chole are light, fluffy, and full of rich flavour, leaving you completely satisfied. To end on a high note, the fresh garam jalebi is absolutely divine—crispy, juicy, and served hot, making it the perfect dessert. Overall, Apni Rasoi is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious, authentic North Indian food.
