Great restaurant with good atmosphere and good food. The server was new and distracted but we had enjoyed our lunch here. We had the best oysters in the valley, lamb ribs were a little sweet, we ordered a second portion requested no sauce, that came out great. Wine list was great. We had tasmanian Riesling and was awesome to pair with food. We all thought their appetizer menu was better than main dishes

Dined here for a friends birthday - it was a lovely spot, beautiful entrance and a great place to take some outdoor photos.
The food was lovely, fresh and tasty with us opting for a few dishes to all taste. The wine of course, was lovely and so was the cocktail we had (a spin of pineapple spicy marg with a chill rum - delicious!) Service was friendly and prompt and acknowledged my friends birthday on entry which was noted in the booking.
A couple of reflections that lost a star for me:
- Whilst the interior was large, spacious with high ceilings - it somehow also felt like a casual diner space - perhaps because of the chairs, tables being nothing flash and also perhaps because the space is so large. It certainly isn’t somewhere romantic or that special feel. This would have been a 3 rating for me here but due to the outside being lovely, I’ve kept it at 4.
- The price of the food is relatively comparable to other dining venues but the food certainly wasn’t plentiful for big eaters. Perhaps a complimentary bread and butter would have been a classy touch like other venues in the surrounds.
- With the pricing of the food, I always then expect a little extra touch - perhaps a little cupcake or dessert with a candle for my friends birthday would have been a wonderful gesture. For establishments that are cheaper in price I would never expect this, however when we spent a pretty penny on our meals and drinks, it would have sealed the deal on a nice outing.
Overall a pleasant experience.

New menu!
We tried some of the new dinner dishes: they have some very unique selections, all very well presented and the flavour is pretty good too.
A nice venue, very well kept and it happened to be perfect weather as well for photos!

Beautiful location and atmosphere with good food and great coffee. Friendly staff and great service. A little on the pricey side, but worth it for the experience.

Beautiful venue with lovely setting and view. Service was great during dinner. The entrees tasted delicious, but main course were under seasoned and lacked flavour, especially the gnocchi dish, it was cold and tasted like fried bread. Not so tender beef ribs served with raw onion on top. The broccolini side dish was stringy and undercooked. For the price I expected the food to be much better.
